Last week, my officemates and I went to Tagaytay to check out this house that I found in Airbnb. We were scouting kasi for a place where we can have our department’s Midyear Planning. We wanted a place where nandun na lahat: where we’ll sleep, eat and do the midyear planning meeting.
I came across Amberfields Farmhouse. Na-amaze ako sa ganda ng house and it’s interiors sa photos! That’s why we decided to check it out.
When we went there, all I can say is I love the architect and the interior designer of the house. Ang galing! What you see in the photos is the same sa actual. I want to have a vacation house like that. It’s maaliwalas. Natural light flows inside. It has a view of the pineapple farm.
The first three photos that you will see came from the Airbnb site. The rest, akin na.
This is the facade of the house.
When you come inside that blue main door, this is what will greet you. That’s the living room.
This one is their dining and kitchen
I love the kitchen and it’s windows. I am also liking the center island where nandun na yung lutuan. Nakaka-in love talaga.
They have this corner when you can just hang out and rest or do your hobbies overlooking the pineapple farm view.
This is the view of the stairs. Kaya maaliwalas kasi high ceiling. That parang balcony you see on your left is one of the 4 rooms in the house. It overlooks the living room.
This is the bedroom that overlooks the living room. Kasya 6 pax. Ganyan din halos what the other two rooms in the same floor looks like.
Ito ang view niya if nandun siya sa room. Rinig nga lang niya all that’s happening in the living room downstairs.
Each room has a toilet and bath that looks like this. At the ground floor, they have a washroom.
The basement naman has a big room that can fit 12 pax plus a game room.
Pwede na nga ako sa porch na lang eh. I can see myself in that swinging chair drinking coffee while reading a book.
I also fell in love with one of the bedrooms. Ito yun.
Sabi ko nga parang magandang room ito for us because Anika still sleeps with us every night.
Yuh. We fixed her room. She got to decide how to decorate her room. Kung ano ano na ang nilagay ko dun but she still sleeps with us.
I know I said before na dapat Anika sleeps na in her own room. Hindi talaga healthy for the marriage eh. Alvin and I almost do not have quality time for each other anymore. In the morning, si Anika. At night, nandun pa din si Anika. Although Alvin has been telling me to force na Anika to sleep in her room. I tried mga bakla pero parang my heart breaks every time I tell her to sleep in her room tapos she’ll beg to sleep with us.
Ipapasok pa niya yung, “if only I have a brother or sister sana, I have kasama in my room and not get lonely” line niya.
She plays us well, I know.
Nakaka-awa naman kasi talaga eh.
Bwiset kasi tong matress ko na ito eh. Non-functioning, amp. A few days ago nga I thought I was pregnant na. I was craving for taho and korean so much. Napagsabihan ko pa nga yung taho vendor sa harap ng office ng, “Kuya, i-make sure mo naman na 7:15 am nandito ka na. Minsan tanghali na, wala ka pa. Sayang benta mo niyan, sige ka.”. Umiinit ulo ko if I can’t eat taho in the morning kaya akala ko buntis ako.
Fake news pala.
Every month na lang ganito.
Oh well, I really do not know what to blame: matress ko ba or Anika sleeping in our room? It’s like the which comes first: chicken or egg question eh.
Like last night, we were going home from Pineda’s baby shower. Anika didn’t want to go home because she had a lot of playmates there.
ANIKA: Nanay, why kasi I cannot have a sibling. Kahit ano! Kahit sister or brother okay na sa akin.
ME: I don’t know sweetheart. Let’s analyze. Baka because you always sleep in our room?
ANIKA: Bakit ba ganun, Nanay? Why do I have to sleep in my room for you to get pregnant?
Silence.
ME: Magpray na nga lang tayo harder, anak.
I wish tuloy I went to Rome the time the Pope gives audience. Papahawakan ko tiyan ko.
Or makapagsayaw na nga sa Obando.
